Art & Technology	Summer graphics camp which emphasizes creativity, personal narrative, and fun. Students learn how to compose successful images using photographs, scanned images, and Photoshop in CCAD’s extensive computer imaging facilities.
Ceramics	Summer ceramics camp where students explore the many techniques of hand-building and receive basic instruction on the use of the potter’s wheel. Ceramic creations are fired in the kilns upon conclusion of the workshop.
Character Design	Summer drawing camp where students learn how to design imaginative characters for children’s books, comic books, and animation through a variety of fun drawing projects and exercises. Students explore everything from costumed gesture drawing to designing and constructing three-dimensional characters from sculpey.
Claymation	Summer animation camp where students explore the history of Claymation, learn to storyboard, build characters and sets, and work as a team to complete a film.
College PreView	Summer program which introduces high schoolers to college life while learning and practicing art skills, effective work habits, and college credit. Students live in the residence hall, attend lectures, create art, participate in workshops, work on homework, meet professional artists, exhibit their work, visit local points of interest, blow off steam, and broaden their peer base.
Continuing Ed - Adobe Illustrator	Computer graphics class that explores the drawing software program Adobe Illustrator. This introductory course explores palettes and tools, gradients, masking, and more advanced applications. Review websites and artwork created by professionals to gain understanding by example. Create a logo, business card, letterhead, or an illustration. A basic understanding of computer processes is recommended to enroll in this course.
Continuing Ed - Adobe Photoshop	Computer graphics class where students learn to use various tools, toolbars, and commands of the software program Adobe Photoshop to enhance artwork. Discover advanced techniques and processes such as layer masking, levels and curves, multiply mode, black line art and tra-digital. Students choose a style and complete a final project.
Continuing Ed - Basic Drawing	Drawing class which teaches the process of creating an image on a surface using various tools and techniques. Explore simple perspective, accurate proportion, composition, and tonal values, using pencil, charcoal, and other drawing media. Create still-life studies and landscapes.
Continuing Ed - Ceramics	Ceramics class which teaches the art of making objects from clay whose final form results from the action of heat. Explore some of the basic techniques such as hand building and throwing. Create items like cups, bowls, and lidded pots. Learn to fire your work in a kiln. This class is designed for all skill levels.
Continuing Ed - Figure Drawing	Figure drawing class which teaches the pictoral representation of the human body in various forms and positions. Working from the nude model, explore proportion, anatomy, perspective, foreshortening, analysis of form, and planer structures of the figure. Create drawings with particular attention to line and value.
